Upgrading our cutting equipment

We have upgraded from a standard chop saw to an industrial cutting machine, enabling faster, safer, and burr-free cutting - even of multiple profiles at once. Cutting very short lengths (100mm or less) remains challenging and results in more material loss due to extra securing. This limitation will be noted in out 'Cut and Tap'-product info. Overall we are proud to offer industrial-quality, burr-free cuts.
We have recently upgraded our cutting equipment. From a standard chop saw we now have a more industrial-grade cutting solution. Our new saw operates at higher speeds, includes improved safety features and can handle 2 or 3 profiles at once. Most importantly, it produces burr-free cuts that meet industrial standards - a step forward in bot quality and efficiency.
However, one challenge remains: cutting very short lengths. Cutting pieces of 100mm or less continues to be difficult. We used to have to add an extra profile in order to properly saw the requested short length. Adding this extra profile increased the risk of dimensional deviations.
With our new setup we are able to better secure the profile, allowing us to complete the cut, but unfortunately part of the material we use to secure the beam that needs to be cut also gets cut through. This means more loss of material.
This limitation will be mentioned in the description of our 'Cut and tap'- products and we are considering to turn cutting verys hort lengths into a separate product category.
Despite this, we are very pleased to now offer high-quality, burr-free cuts thank to this industrial upgrade. It is a step forward when it comes to precision and consistency we can deliver to our customers.
